Soggy Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning PA!!

I guess everyone is sleeping in? I haven't started roll call in awhile! I guess 8am on a Sunday morning is a bit early....

Dee was up bright and early this morning! I think she was excited that Siehara is here!! Although she was sleeping when we got home last night,she did wake up for a minute to see Siehara and then they both went to sleep. Siehara is still sleeping, she had a long day and I am glad she feels comfortable here. When we got home last night, I told her that our cat is not very sociable and that she may hiss at her. Well, she surprised me! She came over to Siehara, smelled her and then rubbed up against her. I told Siehara that she was in!! My cat NEVER does that???

Today I am up to take Dee to hebrew school, come back home and put up a crock pot of turkey meatballs and sauce. When Dee gets back from school, I think we will make pancakes! Lisa will be here around 1 and she was nice enough to offer to take Dee and Siehara to the movies!! I offered to have them come back for dinner afterwards, but I guess it will depend on how the day goes. While they are at the movies I am going to take a nap. It is that kind of day, rainy and cloudy!!

I wass up earlier, but busy.  I have a Sixer game and Special Olympics clinic to go to at the Wells Fargo Center.  I really don't want to go, but am going to see my nephew, and support Special Olympics, because $10 from every ticket specially ordered goes to Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

Hi Beth & PA!

Where is everyone???  Spent the weekend at my brothers - Friday was my neices 16th birthday, so we had dinner and then I helped all day yesterday to get ready for the Neon / Blacklight party - it was pretty cool.  This was followed by a sleepover where 12 16 year olds laughed half the night.  I will definitely need to get to bed early tonight - am very tired....  AND, I did manage to get some time in on their elliptical! 

Mark and I are doing some much needed cleaning around the house and then I will finish my tax prep tonight...  I will finish my tax prep tonight, I will finish my tax prep tonight- ugh.. I am such a procrastinator...it is a highly refined skill.

Well, enough lounging on the couch with the computer in front of me!  time to get some things done.

Hey Beth and the few others posting today..

You are a Gdsend for taking my child.  I didn't realize how far you were from the synagogue.. sorry. 

I had a fantastic weekend.. Barix Saturday afternoon and Mardi Gras party at night.. up way too late but had fun anyway.

Took Siehara and Dee to see Gnomeo and Juliet.. I fell asleep about 20 minutes in...oops.. the girls enjoyed it and that's what matters.  Plus I sugared up Dee in time to send her home..

Drove home and saw the Oscar Meyer Weiner car... I wish I could have gotten a pic, but it was raining pretty hard and there was a lot of traffic.  It was too far past us for Siehara to capture a decent shot.

The rest of the night will be spent in bed relaxing with movies and the laptop.. early bedtime for sure.

Siehara was a pleasure to have! Of course she slept most of the time, but still a pleasure! It wasn't that far away, plus I got to go through my old neighborhood, which pretty much looks the same!!

Thanks for taking Dee to see the movie! The sugar rush was an added plus! She crashed and went to sleep right away!!

I know if I was in a position where I needed someone to watch Dee that you would do it, so no worries!!
